The homage ups microcontroller is the main CPU of the inverter. the manufacturing company burns its programming with all functions and safety. It is a 32-pin controller with a 16mhz crystal. Users or technicians are not able to make any type of changes in the microcontroller. In controllers every pin is protected by a 10-ohm fuse and the operated supply voltage are 5volt dc. if vcc voltage does not reach the controller then the ups will not power ON.

how to trace Microcontroller?

you can trace a faulty microcontroller with the multimeter, select at diode range and connect the negative probe to Vcc 5volt and the positive probe to the ground of the controller supply. the multimeter must show the value of the diode if shows low-value resistance or is short then the microcontroller should replace it.

how do we repair Microcontroller?

can’t repair the microcontroller because this is the property of the manufacturing brand and is protected by the company. we only trace if the problem is in the VCC supply then we can change the lm7805 ic or power supply-related section.
